My life has always been
about faith, family, and moving forward.

Faith in God, love for my family, hard work, and the belief that

every chapter has a purpose have shaped the person I am today. For 27 years, I proudly built my career with FedEx.

It was more than a job. It was a commitment to responsibility, dedication, and giving my very best.

Throughout those years, my faith remained my foundation, guiding me through life's challenges and reminding me of its many blessings. Above all, my greatest blessings have always been my wife and family. Everything I worked for was built around the

people I love.

Today, at 66, I am enjoying a new chapter of life in Barbados. A time to slow down, appreciate life's beauty, and enjoy the

moments that matter most. I am proud of the life I have built, grateful for the journey, and excited for what lies ahead.

My story isn't finished. God is still writing it.

Some careers are chosen.
Others become part of who you are.

For 27 years, FedEx was part of the rhythm of my life. I showed up. I worked hard. I carried responsibility. I did my best to provide for my family and prepare for the future.

Over time, the job became more than a place I worked. It became part of the discipline that shaped me.

I learned that consistency matters. That responsibility matters. And that the ordinary days, the days when no one is watching, are often the days that build a life.

Year after year, my career helped me support my family, build retirement savings, and prepare for the day when my working years would finally come to an end.

But looking back, I understand that the greatest value of those years was not simply what I earned.

It was what the work taught me about commitment, perseverance, and taking care of the people who depend on you.

That was the life I built. Those were the values I wanted to carry into retirement.

I thought I had done everything I was supposed to do.

For most of my adult life, I worked, saved, and prepared for retirement. I had a pension, Social Security, retirement savings, and a 401(k). From the outside, it looked like I had done everything right, and in many ways, I had.

But the closer retirement came, the more I began to understand something important. Building money for retirement and living through retirement are not the same thing.

An account balance can tell you what you have accumulated, but it cannot tell you how long it will last, how taxes may affect what you can use, what will remain accessible if life changes, or what will continue protecting the people you love when the paycheck stops.

That realization changed the questions I was asking. I was no longer only thinking about how much I had saved. I was thinking about how everything I had built would actually work together when my career was over.

I had prepared for retirement. Now I needed to prepare for life after the paycheck.

Retirement was never only about me.

For years, I measured my progress by the work I did, the money I saved,

and the retirement I was preparing to enjoy.

But as that day approached, my questions began to change.

I wasn't only asking whether I had saved enough. I began thinking about

my wife, my family, and what would happen if life took an unexpected turn.

Would what I had built continue to provide for them? Would it be there when they needed it most?

I realized that preparing for retirement was one thing. Protecting the people I love was something greater.

I wasn’t looking for another financial product. I was looking for a plan for my life.

After 27 years of working and preparing, I had accumulated the pieces of retirement. What I needed was to understand how those pieces could work together.

I wanted to know what I could depend on for income, what could be protected, what I could access if life changed, and ultimately what I could leave behind for the people I love.

My experience with W.H. STEINER began differently than I expected.

The conversation wasn't about selling me another account. It was about understanding the life I had already built: my career, my retirement, my wife, my family, and what mattered to me now.

Then we began putting the pieces together.

For the first time, I wasn’t simply looking at what I had accumulated. I could see what it was all for.

One retirement. One strategy. One purpose.

I already had the foundation of retirement: Social Security, retirement income, savings, and my 401(k). What I needed was a strategy that brought everything together with a clear purpose.

With W.H. STEINER, we looked beyond account balances and focused on what mattered most to me: supplemental retirement income, protecting a portion of my savings from direct market losses, preserving opportunities for growth, understanding my access to funds, and planning for my family's future.

It was no longer simply about what I had accumulated.

It was about giving everything I had worked for a clearer purpose.

After 27 years of working,

I finally have time to enjoy what I worked for.

What I had built was important. What I could protect was even more important. My retirement accounts represented years of work and sacrifice. But I wanted to understand what would happen if life didn't go exactly as planned.

What if I needed additional financial flexibility? What if my health changed? What would my wife and family have to depend on if I were no longer here?

The W.H. STEINER Strategy helped me look at those questions together.

It was designed to complement what I already had, with a focus on financial protection, potential access to funds during my lifetime, and a benefit intended for the people I love.

For me, retirement planning was no longer only about accumulating money.

It was about preparing for the unexpected while looking after the people who matter most.

What I built was never meant to end with me.

After a lifetime of responsibility, I finally have time to enjoy what I worked for.

For most of my life, my days were built around a schedule, a commitment, and the responsibility of providing for my family.

Retirement has given me something I spent decades working toward: time.

Today, here in the Bahamas, I can slow down, enjoy life's beauty, spend meaningful time with my wife, and appreciate the simple moments that once passed so quickly.

I no longer measure my days by a work schedule.  I measure them by the moments that matter most.

For me, retirement isn't the end of a working life. It's the beginning of a different kind of freedom.

Every person has a story worth understanding.

Every person has a story worth understanding.

Sharing my story isn't about telling someone else what they should do. It's about sharing what I learned.

For years, I believed retirement was mainly about what I had accumulated. What I came to understand was that the numbers were only part of the story. The bigger questions were about my wife, my family, the future I wanted, and what I hoped to leave behind.

What mattered most was having someone take the time to understand my life before talking about a solution.

That is what I experienced with W.H. STEINER.

And if you are asking some of the same questions I once asked, perhaps the first step is simply having someone listen to yours.

Every life has a story worth honoring. Maybe it's time to begin yours.
